What is Generation Girls (GG)?

Generation Girls is a project for Autistic girls and girls with learning disabilities. Whether you’re here to find out more or are already one of our Generation Girls - welcome! Generation Girls is a space to find help, advice and support. We are here to provide creative, informative and accessible recourses.

Starting in 2014, Generation Girls was founded by Nina Lemon, Artistic Director of Peer Productions. Generation Girls is a project that takes on two forms - a 10-week empowering drama programme for girls and online, interactive 'smart script' workshops. Led by a specialist facilitator and supported by a team of trained peer educators aged (18 - 21) the programmes explore issues that matter most to young women in a safe and supportive environment. Topics included self esteem and body image, healthy relationships and mental health.
